It's been a month ago, Audi teased about their all-electric car and after so many rumours spreading all over the internet finally, we've got some confirmed specs of the 2021 Audi RS E-Tron GT. Today, the German automaker let the car driven by Mat Watson from Carwow.
The appearance of the car from the outside is totally similar to the 2021 Audi RS7 but a bit wider and lower. It is confirmed that the latest E-Tron will be driven by two-electric motors, one at the front axle and one at the rear axle which collectively produce about 600 hp. An extra option, called Overboost generates 650 hp which is 50 hp more.

The car we seen Carwow testing was a Prototype. Therefore, the interior is hidden by clothes. Electric motors means Instant Torque and this car is no exception as it generates a torque of 612 lb/ft and it weighs around 2.5 tonnes which is quite a big number for a performance car. The E-Tron does 0-60 Mph in just 2.88 secs as of Carwow but the company claims it is about 3.5 secs. The top speed of the car is limited to just 155 Mph because of the weight of the car.

Basically, this E-Tron shares the same platform of the Porsche Taycan. The car is not revealed yet as it was covered with a strange and colourful camouflage and the interior was also covered with clothes. There is no RS buttons on the steering as seen in the recent RS cars.
Surprisingly, this E-Tron has got a Dual-gear automatic transmission and a Rear Slip Differential for that rear wheel only drive to drift around. The production model is said to have total range of 250 miles and Tesla remains unbeatable in range of 400+. The E-Tron is powered by a 93 kWh battery underneath. This supports quick charging of a humongous 250 kWh which can just charge the car so rapidly as it would take just 20 minutes for 0-80% of charge which will give a range of 200 miles. A new technology charging feature lets the E-Tron charge wirelessly on large charging pad with a power of 11 kWh which will be slower in charging the car.
