The Brabus Rocket 900 is unleashed, the most powerful and widest Mercedes-AMG GT63 S!

Overview

The German tuner "Brabus" unleashed the most powerful 4-door sedan, Brabus Rocket 900. It generates a whopping 900 hp which is nearly 200 horses more than the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. There were a number of "Rocket" models, previously which were generally used to be V12 engines but the latest Rocket uses a V8 engine. Read on to know more...

It is super exclusive and rare as only 10 will be produced and it cost around $515,000.

Technical specs

Engine 4.5L Twin-turbocharged V8
Power 900 hp
Torque 774 lb/ft (or) 1,050 Nm
Drive All-wheel Drive System
Top speed 205 Mph

The Brabus Rocket 900 is basically a Mercedes-AMG GT63 S added with lot more punch with a bespoke aftermarket modification. The whole body is modified and installed with a radical Widebody Carbon-fibre kit and the interior is not an exception which also has a lot of carbon trims.

There is nothing stock under the hood, as the engine is rebored to increase the displacement from 4.0-litre to 4.5-litre as a result, it now produces a whopping 900 hp and 774 lb/ft (1,050 Nm). The actual torque produced by the engine is 922 lb/ft which is a humongous number that's enough to twist the frame but is limited with an electronic limiter, keeping the kismet of the car's frame in mind and the upgrades under the hood don't stop there. The Air intakes are upgraded with a larger carbon ram-air intakes mounted on the left and right sides of the radiator grilles. The turbos are upgraded with bigger custom made turbos to push almost 20 psi of air into the engine for the maximum output.

These changes and upgrades made this car as one of the fastest four-door cars in the world. This Brabus Rocket does 0-60 Mph in just 2.8 secs, 0-124 Mph in 9.7 secs and 0-186 Mph in 23.9 secs which are some incredible figures. The top speed of the car is limited to 205 Mph, considering the weight of the car and the capacity of the tyres to withstand such high speeds.

The performance is top-notch in this car as the GT 63S is equipped with a Carbon-fibre widebody kit and a radical rear spoiler. The aerodynamic design of the car is developed in a wind tunnel. The aerodynamical touch by the Brabus is also seen on the wheels too as the wheels are covered by Carbon-fibre aero-discs, similar to the McLaren Speedtail's front tyres. The tyres size measures 21 inches in the front and 22 inches in the rear. The interior is no exception to the Brabus treatment with carbon trim all over. Along with the carbon, there is a nice use of Black Leather and Alcantara.
