2021 BMW M3

The 2021 BMW M3 features a very radical redesign of the old M3. It is far ahead in terms of power and the exterior body design. This new BMW becomes a strong rivalry to many of the cars including the Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio, Mercedes-AMG C63, Audi RS3, Nissan Z Proto, etc...

This car features a twin-turbo 3.0-litre inline-six with a crazy amount of horsepower up to 473 hp. As this is a BMW make, there is also a competition model that could showcase more power which is likely to be around 500 hp and better aerodynamics making the car track-ready. But a drawback has been made clear that the 2021 M3 could lack a Manual transmission which is quite disappointing to the BMW fans out there. however, the standard M3 will have a Manual transmission option.

Transmission and Performance

The new M3 comes with its most significant feature, the Rear-wheel drive system, and M3 competition comes with an all-wheel-drive system as standard which is assisted by the rear-biased system that provides you with that rear-wheel-drive mode with completely different behaviour. The M3 competition is accompanied by an 8-speed Automatic transmission as standard and thats disappointing. And this car is loaded with the best features such as Adaptive dampers, Adjustable brake pedal and Carbon-ceramic brakes available. The wheels are bigger too as the front ride on 18 inch wheels and 19 inch wheels and one inch larger on the competition version respectively.

Interior design

Being an 'M' version, there is a lot of trim details available with carbon-fibre and leather. The interior is same as the regular series but upgraded slightly in order to give that M feel with more carbon trims. The gauges are completely digital and modern. The Instrument cluster is as large as 12.3 inches that supports M drive modes. The M buttons are also available to switch between different driving modes on the steering wheel. The sound system is done by Harman/Kardon and you can get one year subscription to SiriusXM satellite radio for free. The Centre console is run by Android Auto which serves a number of gesture controls. It is finally featuring NFC, that could charge mobile phones wireless.

Exterior design

The exterior design is whole different from any other previous BMWs and aggressive too. The difference begins from the re-designed or enlarged Kidney grilles. The front splitters, Side skirts, Roof, Rear spoiler, Diffusers, Vents, Rear-view mirrors, etc are made of Carbon-fibre which does make this car Aerodynamically more efficient than the previous BMW M3 and also help in weight management of the car as it weighs about a 3,840 lbs or 1,741 kg. Obviously, the head lights are upgraded and the Rear brake lights is simply the best part of the car.
