2021 BMW M4 Competition

This car has got a different body language of any previous BMW cars. The Curves are sharper thus giving a very aggressive look to the car. The 2021 M4 surely shatters the performance records held by its previous cars. If you are looking for the best feature in any of the BMW, you would find a Stick shift Manual Transmission but the Bavarians are no more with the Manual Transmission in the future cars which is disappointing and we should accept it. The car is driven by its four wheels with the Rear-biased all-wheel-drive system that also supports the crazy rear-wheel only drive mode. So, drifting is never affected.

Engine and Transmission

The M4 is featured by a Twin-turbocharged 3.0-Litre inline six engine. As this is a car from BMW, there is gonna be two variants, a standard and a Competition model with different engines capable of producing 473 hp and 406 lb/ft, and 503 hp and 473 lb/ft, respectively. The engine comes into action by the 8-speed automatic transmission in the competition model as standard which is disappointing to not have a manual transmission in a high performance model. The car is run by Rear-biased All wheel drive (AWD) system that helps in switching between Rear wheel drive and All wheel drive system just with a click of a button.

There are are loads of sporty features available such as Adaptive dampers, Launch control Adjustable brake pedal, and an electrically adjustable exhaust sytem which makes the car louder in Sport and Sport plus modes by opening valves. The brakes can be upgraded with Crabon-ceramics for better braking at high speeds.

Interior design

The interior design of the car is really great looking and is same as the regular 4-series because the passenger space and the interior layout are same. The interior is available with Carbon-fibre trims on doors, Steering wheel, Dashboard, etc... The steering wheel houses the M buttons to switch between different driving modes easily. The seats are more sportier than the previous generation BMWs. The Instrument cluster is all digital placed behind the steering wheel and the Centre console is 12.3 inches with capacitive touchscreen makes it easy to use. The steering wheel position is electrically adjustable according to the driver's position. The speakers are mede by Harmon/Kardon. The centre console is run by Android Auto that gives a number of gesture control features and Wireless charging is also available. The seats are also electrically adjustable with buttons.

Exterior design

When it comes to exterior design this car literally out shines. The Kidney grilles are awkward looking but some may find it good looking too. There are a number of additional extension parts such as Front splitter, Rear spoiler, Diffuser, Side skirts that altogether improve the Aerodynamics of the car. Those body parts are made of Carbon fibre. Also the Roof, Mirrors, are of Carbon as well which makes the car light in weight as a result this car weighs 1,746 kg which is lighter than the previous generation M4. The upgraded headlights and the Brakelights are beautiful as well. There are totally 4 exhaust pipes equipped with Titanium exhaust tips that rumble all the way. The car rolls with the help of 19 inch tyres and 20 inch tyres in front and back, respectively. The Rims are forged alloys that is suitable for high speed runs.
