LAMBORGHINI SESTO ELEMENTO: The Angriest Lamborghini Concept!

Updated: Aug 31, 2020

Not just us call it the Angriest but every supercar enthuses will notice the Sesto Elemento, the Angriest Lamborghini. The reason behind why we address it that way is majorly because of course, its aggressive looks!

GALLERY

Many of you will be convinced by now after seeing those spectacular images of the LAMBORGHINI SESTO ELEMENTO above. It was the most expensive Lamborghini with a whopping $2million until the Lamborghini Veneno had launched with even more whopping price tag of $4.5 million.

It was first debuted as a mid-engined track-only concept by Lamborghini on its 50th anniversary at 2010, Paris Motor Show but soon turned out to be a Super-exclusive production car barely, 6 months later its debut. We say, Super-exclusive here because the company declared that only 20 of these will be made forever. Therefore, it is one of the rarest Lamborghinis ever made. It is not just a Supercar rather a Hypercar.

SESTO ELEMENTO?

The car is named after one of the most abundant elements on earth "CARBON" and its Atomic number "6" in the periodic table.

SESTO - Sixth

ELEMENTO - Element

The reason behind this was the highly extensive use of Carbon-Fibre. Its pretty much everything is made of carbon-fiber including the chassis, Body, Driveshafts, Suspension components, etc...

SPECS

Engine 5.2L Lamborghini V10 (Odd firing)

Transmission 6-Speed E-Gear Automated electrohydraulic manual

Curb Weight 999 Kg (2,202 lbs)

Drivetrain All wheel drive

Max power 562 HP @8000 Rpm

Max torque 398 lb/ft @6500 Rpm

0-62 Mph 2.5 secs

Top speed 356 Kmph or 221 Mph

These figures are still the best for a car yet. The Bull brand boasts Sesto Elemento can attain 0-60 Mph in an unrivaled 2.5 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds faster than their 820 HP Lamborghini Sian. The engine in this car was borrowed from the Gallardo Superleggera.

DESIGN

The design of this particular Lamborghini is a remarkable feature, which is completely made of Advanced carbon-fiber technology which eventually makes the Sixth element lighter than a Mazda MX5 Miata. This car is available only in the color of Carbon Black with a Red accent to it.

Designer Filippo Perini

The car comes with no vehicle comforts like Air condition, Stereo, Airbags, and even lacks seats. There are no bucket seats also, rather they adhere cushion paddings on the surface of the carbon fiber chassis accordingly to the drivers driving position. Because of the absence of any kind of safety equipment, it is not a road-legal car. Still, one can buy it and drive it on tracks.

The engine produces a lot of power that generates a large amount of heat. So, there are 10 holes placed right above the engine compartment which acts as the cold air intakes to cool down the engine. There are two exhaust ports for this car which protrudes just below the spoiler of the car in a bare triangle shape.

It is so hard for one to come over a Lamborghini Sesto Elemento in person.
